BESPOKE HOTEL FITTING

Brief

Liaise with select manufacturers to source and install a large scale supply of bespoke carpeting.

From initial meetings, through the production and presentation of samples, to the selection, supply and installation of the chosen carpet, we led this project basing each decision on a detailed client brief.

This degree of trust from the client comes only after careful consultancy and research – groundwork is the most vital component in accurately representing and delivering the vision of the client. We successfully completed this work on brand, on time and on budget.

AMERICAN DINER

Brief

Create an authentic 'American Diner' feel to support the venues core themes.

Working in conjunction with the client’s existing shop fitting team, we led the planning and quantification of Luxury Vinyl tiles. These created the exact look required, whilst also carefully adhering to the stringent Health and Safety regulations set down by the Restaurant industry.

5* HOTEL

Brief

Source and fit new flooring to the main foyer and staircase to a 5* hotel.

One of our professional Project Managers conducted an electronic survey in order to provide accurate area measurements to the designated carpet manufacturer. We then ensured that a suitable carpet design was selected to remain in keeping with the existing décor and the established quality of the hotel. Once this was approved by the client, we re-fitted the main foyer and staircase with no disruption to the hotel's daily routines.

CINEMA MULTIPLEX

Brief

Represent the client in all aspects of the project, from design to installation.

We liaised with the chosen manufacturer to design, create and supply a fully bespoke, high quality carpet required to instil a unique feel to the venue.

The circular reception area is reflected in the carpet’s design and the vibrant colouring supports the business personality. This degree of design experience and input is something we delight in contributing to any job.

4* CITY CENTRE HOTEL

Brief

Plan and install bespoke carpet to the main staircase of a major 4* city centre hotel.

One of our professional Project Managers initially undertook the planning, quantification and production of essential manufacturing dimensions to ensure the requests of the client were exactly met. We then installed the bespoke carpet on the main staircase, carefully considering the hotel guests by working outside of normal hours.

PRESTIGIOUS CLOTHING STORE

Brief

Supply and install a high quality, Engineered timber flooring in a prestigious outlet.

Over a period of two weeks, and with no disruption to the normal working hours of the store, we removed all existing flooring and completed extensive sub-floor preparation, before supplying and installing a brand new timber floor that would look amazing and stand up to very high footfall.

CINEMA MULTIPLEX

Brief

Put the complex finishing touches to a major cinema project within the pre-determined timeframe.

With this project we used the experience of 150+ similar jobs, to install carpet and vinyl throughout a major Cinema Multiplex. The variety of flooring levels, curvature of walls and presence of numerous staircases create exciting challenges, and the huge amount of foot-traffic means quality of product and workmanship is paramount.

FURTHER EDUCATION

Brief

Add a welcoming touch of luxury to the main reception area of the Centre for Fundamental Physics.

We were commissioned to enhance the appearance of the foyer area to bring it in line with the established reputation of this world class University. We sourced and installed Luxury Vinyl tiles, and we considered our impact on this live environment by working around the normal periods of high-activity.

NHS OFFICE

Brief

Install 5000m² of carpet tiles in a large scale refurbishment project.

This vast and highly populated office environment needed to be completely retiled with no disruption to the 1000+ office staff. We organised the removal and storage of all furniture whilst the work took place outside of working hours, and then we re-established the office environment to complete the project.

5* HOTEL IN FRANKFURT

Brief

Manage the procurement and installation of a bespoke carpet into the Main Ballroom and Pre-Function area.

In this direct appointment, we were invited to Germany to enhance key areas of a 5* hotel in Frankfurt. Using Computer Aided Design (CAD), we produced a full digital survey before assisting the client to liaise with their chosen European manufacturer. We ensured the accuracy of all product elements before final purchase, then installed this beautiful, fully bespoke, top-of-the range Axminster.

CONSTRUCTION

Johnson Wright has extensive experience of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) regulated projects, which see much larger teams of multiple trades coming together to create one holistic workforce.

We match, and frequently exceed the accreditations required as all our installers are recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and have Site Supervisor and First Aid qualifications.

Our company complies with the highest industry standards including being approved by Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), Constructionline and Safe Contractor and Building Confidence by Achilles, now recognised as the standard of supplier excellence.

UNIVERSITY PREMISES

Brief

Create, source and install flooring to add a new vibrancy to a major University access corridor.

The degree of research undertaken on behalf of the client was extensive and was all included in the service package laid down. We approached several manufacturers for samples so that we could accurately assess colours and quality. The client chose the best option, and we completed the job with a quick and accurate installation, working round the natural peak times of the area.

MAJOR NORTH EAST DEPARTMENT STORE

Brief

Re-vamp the children's shoe department by adding vibrancy and colour to enhance the area.

Through personal consultancy, we identified and sourced exactly the right style of flooring required to create an environment in which children would love to spend quality shopping time. Due to the fact that this was a live environment, we worked outside of the normal opening hours in order to make certain that the shoe department experienced no down-time.

MAJOR LONDON MULTIPLEX

Brief

Working to a bespoke blueprint, including all finishing, create a luxury feel to a major Central London Cinema.

In this full scale project, we not only procured and installed all carpet and vinyl floorings, we supplied and fitted all the feature accessories to create a truly bespoke look. Stair profiles, edge detailing and low level lighting were all sourced and tailored to the exact requirements of the client.

HEALTH CLUB

Brief

Acting as the main contractor, liaise with and co-ordinate all other trades in the refurbishment of a chain of international Health and Fitness clubs.

We led a large scale project to source, supply and install all of the flooring styles, including finishes. We used Luxury Vinyl tiles, Impact Resistant rubber sheeting, fitness matting and bespoke carpet tiles.

This project initially required a bespoke Safe Working System to be designed and implemented for the removal and re-installation of all existing gym equipment.

SHOPPING CENTRE

Brief

Blend multiple floorings into one space, creating a variety of textures with consistent durability.

We were invited to Portugal to Project Manage the supply and installation of multiple floorings into a shopping centre.

All carpet and tiling was required to reflect the prestigious image and vibrant personality of the centre, whilst being very resilient to coping with the extremely high footfall.

HOSPICE

Brief

Supply and install a variety of new floors to be used in key areas within a hospice for young children and their families.

Safety, resilience, usability, quality and vibrancy were all key factors in this job – sheet vinyl’s, safety vinyl’s, wet room flooring and impervious carpets were specific to vital, high footfall areas and must adhere to stringent safety regulations in the procurement and installation.

We delighted in bringing a new look to this fabulous hospice and, along with our supply partners, we donated a portion of our time for free.
